Day 1: Bishkek – Kyzyl Oi
You will be picked up today from Manas International Airport to Bishkek by your driver. You will drive about 30 minutes to reach the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Then you are going to have a city tour, exploring the best sitghts of the city. In course of the tour you will observe such attractions as Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and many other interesting sites. Then the road will take you to the next point. You will transfer to amazing village Kyzyl Oi. You are going to go straight to the South side of the country. Along the way you will explore the scenic landscapes and enjoy the spectacular views of highly mountains and breathtaking gorges. This day you will transfer through the stunning pass Tue Ashuu, which altitude is 3000 meter high where you will see the amazing panoramic views. During the tour you will have photo stops. This road is one of the most charming in Kyrgyzstan. Night will be in the home stay.
Day 2: Kyzyl Oi – Son Kul
Today you will go to the beautiful Son Kul. This lake is famous among tourists. It is the second largest in the country, and is located at an altitude of 3016 meters above sea level. Since ancient times, the lake has been inhabited by nomads who bring their cattle to the virgin pastures. Kyrgyz people love this place for its unique view and beautiful natural landscapes, the highlands have a unique flora and fauna. Here you can see the cleanest meadows and enjoy the views of the lake, breathe fresh air and take charming photos. You will have a chance to feel yourself as a real nomad. Night will be in the yurts made of wooden skeleton and covered with felt.
Day 3: Son Kul – Tash Rabat
This day your destination will be Tash Rabat. But before you will have a wonderful horse riding in a quiet and peaceful place where you can enjoy the views of the lake. This day you will also have a chance to explore the local traditions and customs of local residents and discover their way of life. You will transfer to Tash Rabat. This medieval castle dates back to the 14th century. Caravanserai played an important role in the Great Silk Road routes; it is located right in the heart of the Tien Shan mountain system. We are sure you will enjoy the tour, as the place is charming not only for its mysterious atmosphere, but also for its beautiful nature. The caravanserai is located at an altitude of 3200 meters and contains 31 rooms; the walls are up to 1 meter thick. You will also see the most interesting part, a room like an underground prison. In ancient times, the caravanserai served as a hotel for merchants who moved with their caravans. You will rest the night in the yurts.
Day 4: Tash Rabat – Kochkor
After breakfast you will drive via picturesque gorges and amazing mountain pass that is 3 000 meters high to the Kochkor village. Today you are going to visit the local family that will teach you how to create the national felt carpet called shyrdak. Decorative and applied art of the Kyrgyz people was born from the centuries-old history of nomads. For the Kirghiz, shyrdaks, along with the Kirghiz, were everyday necessities, decorated with various patterns and having a special meaning. Then you will explore a small handicraft museum there. There you will find a lot of things such as silver decorations, coats made of wolf, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other interesting things. You will spend the night in a home stay.
Day 5: Kochkor – Issyk Kul southern shore – Skazka – Karakol
This day you will travel to the second largest alpine lake in the world called Issyk Kul. Kyrgyz people proudly call this lake "the Pearl of Central Asia". The lake is located at an altitude of 1608 meters and enchants with beautiful nature and charming mountains that surround the lake. The lake has healing properties and has salty qualities. Many tourists love this charming lake for its beauty and incredible mountain views. You are going to enjoy the views of the fabulous Canyon located on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul near the village of Tosor. This canyon attracts views of fabulous shapes and forms. The shapes of canyons change every time the weather changes. You will stop in the village of Bokonbaevo and meet a real hunter who hunts rabbits, hares, lynxes and mice with the help of an eagle. This is an ancient type of hunting that came to us from the nomadic time of the 12th-13th century. During the tour you will stop over the picturesque gorge Jeti Ogeuz and see the panoramic views of the gorge and take photos of the famous Broken Heart Mountain. Then you will transfer to Karakol. The overnight is in the guesthouse.
Day 6: Karakol – Issyk Kul northern shore – Bishkek
You will continue your adventure along the northern part of the fabulous lake Issyk Kul. You will have a chance to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and take photos. You will drive to the capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek. Don’t miss chance to see the panoramic views of the lake. This is place where you will have a chance to enjoy the harmony with nature. During the tour you will break at the open air museum of petroglyphs that were made by shamans 2 000 years ago and dated back to 800 B.C. Night will be in the hotel.
