Day 1: Nur-Sultan
Upon arrival to Nur -Sultan you will start discovering the interesting sites of the modern capital city of Kazakhstan. First you will visit the Constitution Square where the first president of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbaev announced the transfer of the capital city from Almaty to Astana (Nur-Sultan). Then you will be amazed by the architecture of Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In order to feel the lifestyle of modern Kazakh people, you will visit the largest shopping center Khan Shatyr. On the top of famous Astana-Baiterek tower, you will have a chance to enjoy the grand panorama view of the city. After that, we will cross the Ishym river and visit the Kazakh Eli Square. The next attractions will be the magnificence building of the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation and the unique Khazret Sultan mosque. The last destination of the city tour will be National Museum of History of Kazakhstan, where you will get acquainted with the history of Nur-Sultan and plans of its future development. At the end of the day you will check into the hotel.

Day 2: Nur-Sultan – Almaty
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nur-Sultan International Airport for a flight to Almaty. The way takes approximately 1 hour 4 minutes. After arrival, the local guide will accompany you to the city. Today will be dedicated to the sightseeing tour in the southern capital of Kazakhstan. The first destination will be the Green Bazaar. It is a popular place for shopping. Then you will visit the oldest park of the city – Panfilov Park. Here you will see famous Zenkov Cathedral, which is considered one of the most wonderful wooden buildings in the world. The Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame is also located here. It was erected in honor of soldiers who defended their Motherland in the Great Patriotic War. After an excursion, the tour will continue to the Medeo gorge. It is famous for the world’s highest mountain skating rink and the dam that protect the city from mudflows. Today you will spend in the hotel.

Day 3: Almaty
Today you will explore the Medeo Gorge, which is situated at an altitude of 1690 meters above sea level. Upon arrival, you will have some free time to breathe fresh air, walk around the area and enjoy the wonderful nature. Then we will ride 20-25 minutes by cable car to Shymbulak ski resort area. The road goes at an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level above. On the first level of ski resort, there are different restaurants, ski and snowboarding school and fancy mountain hotel. After that, you will return by cable car. Then the tour route will take you to Kok-Tobe hill. Here the tallest (a.s.l.) TV tower is located. We will drive along the amazing mountain road on the park eco-cars. In Kok-Tobe Park you will be able to explore the mysterious paths and see the majestic panorama view of the city from the special observation desk. Nearby there is also a small shop of national souvenirs. Then we will reach the city center by the Almaty cableway*(it is not available on Tuesdays, so you will go down by park eco-buses). The overnight stay will be in a hotel.

Day 4: Almaty – Tamgaly – Almaty
Besides natural attractions of southern part of Kazakhstan, you will have a chance to visit the unique historical site – Tamgaly petroglyphs. It is one of the oldest monuments of rock art of Zhetisu. It is under the protection of UNESCO since 2004.  Tamgaly Gorge is situated 170 km north-west of Almaty city. It represents the ancient art gallery of drawings of animals, people or the whole scenes from the life of ancient people. There are pictures of solar deities, clowns, soldiers, married couples, pregnant women, multi-figure compositions, scenes of hunting and sacrifice. The gallery of the main gorge consists of 2000 drawings. Most of them were created in the Bronze Age and are made in "animal" style of Sakas. For many years the rocks of the canyon and valley of Tamgaly preserved the sacred places - the place of ritual ceremonies and worship of the gods and the spirits of ancestors. After an excursion we will return to the hotel.

Day 5: Flight
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Almaty International Airport.
