Day 1: Almaty
This day you will meet the guide at the airport. Then you will transfer to Almaty and begin the interesting city tour. You will go to the first spot Almaty Museum. You will be attracted by the beauty of the Museum, its architecture and interesting exhibits. You will find there the ancient tools and exhibits remains from the Great Silk Road. The tour route will take you to Abai Opera and Ballet Theatre where you will get acquainted with the fabulous architecture. Then you will lead to the oldest of Almaty parks - Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen. There you will be inspired by the amazing site called Zenkov Cathedral; this is the one of the most charming wooden building in the world.  Then you will explore the memorable attraction the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame and admire the Museum of Musical Instruments. Further you will go to Green Bazaar, where you walk along the colorful rows and buy amazing goods. There you will have great chance to bargain! Here you can enjoy the entire national atmosphere, see the bustling part of the city and get a discount. Many tourists love this place. This place accepts only the local currency tenge. Then you will transfer to the hotel for the overnight.

Day 2: Almaty surroundings
This day you will explore the sport site Medeo Gorge (1690 meters above sea level). After arrival you will admire the remarkable spot of this place- the highest mountain skating rink in the world and the dam which protects the city from hazardous landslides. You will have a chance to enjoy here the amazing panoramic views. Don’t miss chance to capture it! The tour route will take you to Shymbulak ski resort area. You will have a wonderful adventure exploring the nature and ride about 20-25 minutes above stunning fur-trees up to the altitude of 2260 meters above sea level. You will see the restaurants, ski, snowboarding school and mountain hotel. You will go down by the cable way.  It is important to note that Almaty is called as “the Apple city”. Then we offer you to explore the enchanting landmark of the city Kok-Tobe hill, where you will get by the picturesque mountain road. You will find there the tallest TV tower in the country. There you will walk, observe the panoramic views of the city, enjoy fresh air and buy souvenirs. You will end the tour with Almaty cableway*. You will be impressed by the beauty of the city. Then you will transferred to the hotel.

* Note: On Tuesday’s tours, at 10:00, cableway is not available, only park eco-cars are available.

Day 3: Almaty – Charyn – Almaty
This day you will move to the spectacular landmark of the country, Charyn Canyon. There you will lead by comfortable car or minivan. You will also have 1,5L of bottled water from our company. For the tour you it is recommended to take some snacks, tea, and coffee in a container with a lid on it. The way to the Canyon will take about 4 hours. During your tour, you will be able to get acquainted with the culture, history, traditions and customs of the country, which your guide will tell you about. We promise you will like the tour! Today you will also explore the local museum of traditional decorative and applied arts and crafts. Along the way you will have a chance to at the local cafe an hour before arriving in the canyon. After arrival to the canyon you will be inspired by the magnificent views of the canyon and have a chance to capture this moment! You will learn that the canyon has already existed for about 12 million years and the carp was Mother Nature with the help of water, rain and sun. The canyon resembles the American Grand Canyon in appearance. You will be surprised by the fabulous towers and castles, as well as the bizarre shapes that resemble animals. The height of the steep cliffs of the canyon reaches a height of 150-300 meters. You will walk through the Valley of Castles, which is 2 km away, and enjoy the harmony with nature.  

Day 4: Almaty – Issyk – Almaty
This day is dedicated to the trip to amazing gorge of Trans-Ili Alatau - Issyk Gorge. You will find it along the Kuldja tract. In ancient times, caravans passed along this road. Today you will immerse into the history of Kazakhstan and explore the burial mounds of Saka period. You will know that the popular site as “Golden Man” was explored there. This is the magnificent symbol of the country. You will continue tour with exploring the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “ISSYK”. You will ancient artifacts devoted to the history and culture of the Saka period as well as copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment and the model of Saka burial mound. The tour route will take you to the height of 1756 meters above sea level. You will reach the amazingly beautiful lake Issyk that was originated 10,000 years ago due to powerful landslide, that made in formation of the natural dam of 300 meters. You will be inspired by the great views of the lake and admire the emerald panorama of the surface. You will have a chance to take photos and explore Issyk Gorge! There you will get the information about the natural disaster of 1963. You will have the picnic near the lake and relax! Then you will transfer to the hotel for overnight.
