Day 1: Dushanbe – Hissor – Dushanbe
After arrival to Tajikistan you will meet the driver and then you will drive to the capital Dushanbe. Today you will explore the wonderful sites of the country. During the tour you will explore Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then you will have a great chance to visit National Park and take fabulous photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs. Today you will also be inspired by the biggest National Flag in the world of 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. After that you will head to Central Museum (35 km) to visit Hissar fortress (VII–XVII centuries). It is one of the oldest and largest architectural monuments in Central Asia. Now it is an open-air Museum with an area of 86 hectares, located on the site of an ancient settlement. Once upon a time it was the residence of the emirs of Bukhara, which was located on a high hill. Before here were located busy market square with a caravan serai and shops. You will be impressed in the tour by two magnificent tower. There you will also have a chance to see outstanding monuments as “Madrasa I Kuhna” (16th -17tth centuries), mosque; the mausoleum of “Mahdumi Azam” (16th century). Then you will be transferred to Dushanbe. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe – Iskanderkul Lake
You will start the tour driving to the fascinating Mountain lake – Iskanderkul (2 255 m. a. s. l.). This lake is located in the beautiful mountains of Vannes, which are among the best, where you will be impressed by the beauty and purity of nature. In Central Asia, this is one of the best places for hiking. This day you will travel through the picturesque Anzob pass (3 372 m). Don’t photos! There you will be inspired by the amazing panoramic views. After arrival you will observe the emerald surface of the lake and wander along it beaches. You will also have a fascinating chance to explore waterfall (40 minutes). Tajikistan attracts more and more tourists to your land. The country has beautiful nature and has rich water resources. Among the CIS countries, Tajikistan ranks second in terms of water resources, and 1st among the countries of Central Asia with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. You will spend the night in the guesthouse.
Day 3: Iskanderkul – Penjakent
This day is dedicated to a wonderful trip where you can try your hiking skills at Fann Mountains. It important to note that these fabulous mountains are known as "Kuhistan" from Farsi means (Mountainous Country). There you will have a chance to find more than 30 pure lakes of different size and shape. This is a stunning territory that cannot be described in words and want to come back here again and again. This is the land of unique, incredible lakes, beautiful weather and landscapes. This is one of the most interesting places for tourists. Here you will have a chance to have trekking and climbing. This area is very rich in flora and fauna. We promise you will like this tour. In the second part of the tour you will be driving to Penjakent. You will rest the night in the local guesthouse.
Day 4: Penjakent – Dushanbe
This day you will explore the fabulous city Penjakent. This city translates as "five villages". This city is situated in the fabulous Khujand area of Tajikistan in Zeravshan river valley. Five villages began their history very long ago in the 5-8 centuries AD. It is important to note that this place was the most important cultural and crafts centers of Sogd named as "Central Asian Pompeii". In ancient times it as the organized city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decorated with paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. We sure you will be inspired by the sites in the tour. Remains of this ancient city were found only in the last century. Travelling here people can explore remains of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, fire worshiper’s church and many others. Then you will transfer back to Dushanbe. This night will be in the hotel.
