Day 1: Dushanbe – Hissor – Dushanbe
After arrival to the airport you will transfer to Dushanbe. You will have a city tour today. This day you will explore such remarkable sites as Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Along the way you will have a chance to make a lot of photos and observe National park, Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world – 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then you will transfer to the prominent attraction Hissor fortress but at first you will visit Central Museum. The Hissor fortress is dating back 7th -17th centuries. In the old days, the fortress was the Palace of the Bek Emir of Bukhara. The monumental structure is located in the West of the capital, in Hissar. The walls of the fortress were at least a meter thick. This territory had a wonderful pool and beautiful and colorful gardens, busy and noisy market with shops and caravan serai. But only a few have survived to this day entrance gate with two majestic towers preserved of this beautiful and fortress. There you will have a chance to explore the fabulous “Madrasa I Kuhna” that dated back 16th – 17th century; the mausoleum of “Mahdumi Azam” dated back 16th. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe – Iskanderkul Lake
The next destination of the tour will be the amazing lake with the altitude 2 255 meters above sea level called Iskanderkul. It is located right in the center of the beautiful Fann Mountains. This place is one of the most beautiful in the world and you can enjoy hiking or trekking here. During the tour you will have a chance to drive along the breathtaking Anzob pass (3 372 m) where you will observe the fascinating and picturesque views. Don’t miss chance to take photos today. After arrival to the lake you will have chance to see the lake and wander along the beaches. This is a great place where you can enjoy the beautiful nature, the beautiful surface of the lake and where you can see the flora and fauna of the lake. It is recommended to observe the mesmerizing waterfall. The way will take about 40 min. Tajikistan charms with its beauty and has rich water resources. Tajikistan is ranked second among the CIS countries and first among the Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8 000 glaciers. The overnight will be in the guest house.
Day 3: Iskanderkul – Penjakent
The Penjakent It is famous for its sights and monuments, on the banks of Zarafshan. The first settlements on the territory of present-day Penjikent appeared more than 5.5 thousand years ago. It is recognized as one of the oldest in Central Asia. Initially, five villages were located on the site of the city, which gave it its name, because Penjakent translates as "Five villages". In the V-VIII centuries AD, the city stood out from the rest. Previously it was a good city with ruler’s palace two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses adorned with a lot of paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. The ruins were found just in the previous century. These day tourists can admire such buildings as houses and offices, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers’ church. You will rest the night in the guest house.
Day 4: Penjakent – Seven lakes – Penjakent
You will be fascinated today by the picturesque and best place for hiking in Central Asia. You will travel from Panjakent (60 km) to south where Marquzor Lake or Seven Lake situated. You will have a perfect opportunity to explore the fascinating gorges where are located Seven Lakes. You will be surprised that lakes have different names, colors and sizes. During the tour you will have opportunity to visit the locals and see their lifestyle. You will explore the traditions and customs. The overnight will be in the guesthouse.
Day 5: Penjakent – Khujand
This day you are going to travel to the second largest city of Tajikistan- Khujand. orod in the North of the Republic of Tajikistan, the administrative center of Sughd region. It is located in the picturesque valley of the Syr Darya river at an altitude of more than three hundred meters above sea level. The city has a population of 149,000. . Khujand it is one of the most beautiful cities in Tajikistan. The abundance of greenery, clean air, lots of interesting sights and sincere hospitality of local residents, which attract more and more tourists. During the tour you will visit Cultural Palace where was elected the president of Tajikistan. Then you will explore Central Mosque in the center of the city. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 6: Khujand – Dushanbe
You are going to return to Dushanbe today. You will drive via stunning Anzob pass with its altitude 3 372 meters and Isticlol tunnel. Famous Fann Mountais is the land of unique, incredible lakes, beautiful weather and landscapes. Definitely-this area is worth visiting at least once! The beauty of this place cannot be described in words, but it is better to see it with your own eyes. It contains more than 30 different lakes with different colors and names. They are known as “Kuhistan” - "Mountainous Country". During this time, it is great to conduct Hiking or trekking. You will be amazed by the rich flora and fauna during the tour.
